The Chemicals, Materials & Metals Advisory practice partners with these companies to ideate, evaluate and enable decision making to shape the future portfolio of companies.

Overview

Lead a client project. Goal is to structure & coordinate the activities of a team of consultants and/or associates in developing a coherent strategy, together with the client. Key role in maintaining & reinforcing client relationships. Seen by client as business advisor in mid-management levels

Responsibilities

Client Leadership

 

  • Serving as the Engagement leader for simultaneous engagements to ensure high levels of quality, client satisfaction, and employee satisfaction. Becoming personally involved in engagements where necessary to mitigate risk.
  • Developing expertise at establishing new executive-level relationships with key stakeholders at new prospective clients
  • Project leadership
  • Client management
  • Deep involvement with the project team on all aspects of the assignment
  • Research and monitor selected areas in the Chemicals industry, with the goal of leveraging expertise in this market into growth consulting
  • Develop relationships and conduct interviews with industry experts, executives, and end-users for the purpose of gathering primary data and producing written market analyses and competitive intelligence
  • Contribute to and manage growth consulting projects, delivering quality insights within the scope, objectives, timeline, and budget for assigned projects
  • Contribute insights in the development of growth consulting proposals, with regards to methodology, achievable objectives, budget requirements, etc.
  • Establish a presence as an influential and knowledgeable expert in Chemicals
  • Leadership and participation in strategy towards building and maintaining a strong research and consulting program in Chemicals

 Business Development

 

  • Establishing executive-level relationships with key stakeholders, decision makers
  • Continuously updating their understanding of the clients' challenges.
  • Qualifying, aligning and advising clients to achieve their desired outcomes.
  • Leads solution development for customer engagements.

 

Thought leadership

 

  • Identifying potential ideas to take to clients
  • Structuring compelling value propositions and collateral
  • Delivering training on these value propositions
  • Coaching and mentoring of more junior team members

  

Frost & Sullivan exposure

 

  • Presenting at industry conferences
  • Writing articles and other thought leadership deliverables
  • Manage key stakeholders by sector/practice area to ensure expectations are met/exceeded, timelines are heeded
  • Develop excellent quality content
  • Work with a global team of experts to create a powerful customer experience

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be a professional and committed business consultant, with a thorough understanding of basics of Business development and Client engagement.  Proven  success  with direct  client  interaction,  business  development,  custom  research  project  fulfilment and  a  pro-active,  methodical  and  innovative  working  practice  is  essential,  with  a proven   ability   to   smash personal targets.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior level management teams.
  • Ability to think creatively and create out of the box solutions.
  • Demonstrated capability to successfully hitting and exceeding targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of energy, commitment, and passion for Chemicals and related sectors.
  • Open to travel within the Middle East for work.
  •  Should possess relevant experience of 5-8 years.
  • Are Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Take ownership to work independently with remote supervision
  • Can multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Are disciplined and adhere to high-quality standards
  • Is a strategic thinker; understands how operational activities are vital in supporting the overall strategy of the business
